Me and my friend own horses. One day we were trail riding, the sun was almost down. We rode through some bushes, when we heard a noise that sounded like footsteps behind us. I quickly jerked my horse around, but nothing was there. My friend said it was probably a squirrel. I continued riding, about five minutes later, my horse froze.

This is surprising because my horse dosen't know how to stand still. He held his head up, ears perked foreward, and eyes not blinking. I pulled on the reins, but there was no reaction, he was zoned into something! I looked over at my friend, a little freaked. She looked just as confused as me.

Suddenly, her horse started nickering, neighing, and going crazy!!!! She tried to calm him but he wouldn't stop. I look forward and I saw something glowing, pure white, in the forest. I was terrfied! I quickly pointed this image out to my friend. She freaked. I tried to turn my horse. Turn and gallop down the road. He wouldn't move! The image moved closer, it slowly approched me and my horse, my friends horse still chomping at the bit, wanting to go.

Mine, not moving staring at the figure. The image came closer to me, I was almost crying, it stroked my horses neck, petting him, and running his fingers through his mane. I tried to turn my horse again, but the image now now grabbed my horses rein. It touched my leg lightly. I quickly pulled my leg farther back away. My friends horse neghed franticlly, louder than ever! My horse then snapped out of this "zone" thing and reared away from the image.

I now quickly turned him and galloped as fast as I could away. I looked back at the image, and it was waving good bye to me. I don't understand this. It must think I am it's friend or something, when I want nothing to do with it. When we got back to the barn we had to wash our horses because they were exhausted from the gallop.

My horse for some reason, got a scratch, the shape of a heart on his face, right below his eye. I showed my friend, she freaked. I put medcine on the cut, trying to get rid of it as fast as possiable. It evently went away. But I still have no idea how he got it and what the "thing" was.
